Easy Baked Salmon Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 pounds Salmon fillets
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2-3 tablespoons fresh parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400° and make sure the rack is in the center of the oven.
- Line a sheet pan with foil or parchment paper. Lightly spray with oil and set aside.
- With a sharp knife, make about 4-5 slits in the salmon. Pat both sides of the salmon dry on both sides with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper. Place skin side down on the baking sheet.
- In a small pan over medium heat, combine butter, minced garlic, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and parsley. Stir for about a minute to combine and set aside to cool for ~5 minutes. Add the lemon juice.
- Brush the salmon with the butter mixture covering the salmon completely.
- Bake until cooked through and slightly flaky, about 10-15 minutes depending on thickness.
